A Treasure of The Music Dept.Demanding, tenacious, and confident are only a few characteristics of the retiring band teacher Mr. James Ohrt. The most important thing that he wants to teach his students is to be committed to work, show appreciation for perfection and to realize the friendship from the band experience. Over the years, Ohrt has learned that his students are generally the best kids in the school. "I feel comfortable knowing I can say I have some of the best kids in the building," said Ohrt on several occasions during his classes. Most people don't think being a band director is hard at all.
